From September 8 to 14, 2025, in Carzano, Monte Isola, the five-yearly “Festa dei fiori” (Flower Festival) of Monte Isola will be held, so called by everyone but whose real name is “Festa di Santa Croce”.
Over 70,000 visitors and more than 200,000 beautiful colorful flowers. The villages of Carzano and Novale di Monte Isola are decorated with magnificent paper flowers handmade by the inhabitants.

Access methods
- SALE MARASINO – Carzano Line: enhanced service;
- ISEO – Carzano Line: operating from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM;
- UPPER LAKE–Carzano Line: active from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with 4 trips covering the towns of Castro, Costa Volpino, Lovere, Marone, Pisogne, and Riva di Solto;
- LOWER LAKE – Carzano Line: active from 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM, with 4 trips covering the towns of Clusane, Predore, Sarnico, and Tavernola.
Ticket Purchase and Booking
Ferries on the Sulzano <-> Peschiera and Sale Marasino <-> Carzano routes cannot be booked in advance. Tickets must be purchased directly at ticket offices or authorized retailers. Access will be managed according to procedures established by the competent authorities.
For all other routes, online ticket purchase is mandatory. Tickets cannot be bought on board.

You can reach the “Festa di Santa Croce” using the public ferry service operated by “Navigazione Lago d’Iseo srl”.

Yes, the routes Sulzano–Peschiera Maraglio and the school services Lovere–Pisogne and Monte Isola–Predore–Iseo will also operate.
Yes, both IVOL and IVOP travel passes are valid during the festival. However, you must also purchase the Monte Isola landing fee before boarding. For online tickets, there is a dedicated user category.
Yes, it is valid, but only if you get off at Sale Marasino station and board from there to reach Carzano. This ticket already includes the Monte Isola landing fee. Note: it does not constitute a reservation.

Yes, but they must wear a muzzle and be on a leash or in a suitable closed carrier. If you don’t have a muzzle, you can buy one at ticket offices or onboard for €4.50. The dog ticket costs €1.30 per trip.
